Spicy Pea Curry

Spicy Pea Curry


  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup sweetened coconut flakes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 chopped fresh green chilies
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • Steamed jasmine rice
  • ½ cup Be Pure Coconut Water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 tsp chopped cilantro
  • Salt to taste


  1. Blend tomatoes, onions, coconut flakes, garlic, green chillies, cumin, tumeric, red chili powder and 1/4 cup of Be Coconut Water in a food processor or blender.
  2. Pour the blended paste into a heated, oiled pan for two minutes. Add thawed peas to the mixture and stir in with coconut water. Cook until peas have softened. Add salt and cilantro to taste.
  3. Serve hot over steamed jasmine rice.
