CHOCOLATE-CHIA

If you’re having a hard time sticking to your New Year’s Resolutions, boy – do we have a treat for you (literally). Stay on your healthy track and indulge in chocolate, yep – chocolate. This healthy chocolate chia pudding is everything you need to kick that chocolate craving, without all the sugar and dairy. Chia seeds are a great way to get in the omega-3, antioxidants and fibre your body needs.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp honey (add more if you like your pudding a little sweeter)
  • Be Coconut Chips
  • Kiwi
  • Pomegranate

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a big bowl
  2. Whisk until mixed well and smooth
  3. Taste and add honey if needed, whisk in
  4. Cover bowl to set in refrigerator overnight (min. 5 hours)
  5. When ready, stir the pudding and divide into serving glasses or mason jars
  6. Add a layer of coconut chips, then sliced kiwi and top with pomegranate
  7. Enjoy!
